A learning experience that explores the potential of looking at competence development not only from an individual perspective but also from a systemic perspective. An immersive learning experience into the philosophy of YOCOMO and its competences needed to implement competence-based training courses, where participants can explore the importance of attitudes in youth work and how to address them through systemic and holistic approaches, learning to tackle the patterns and needs of their environment to achieve success.

Residential on Being Civically Engaged + -

This course invites reflection upon ‘Being Civically Engaged’, the 9th competence for youth workers in European youth work practices, contexts and (personal and organisational) cultures. The participants will learn the ways in which youth work context can stimulate the development of youth workers’ civic engagement competence practice and discover the pathways they can take to comprehend their surrounding system from a civic engagement perspective..

Residential on Competence-Based Approach to Youth Work + -

A learning experience supporting youth workers in gaining an understanding on the competence-based approach in their own competence development and through this lens, exploring their own practice as youth workers and becoming aware of their attitudes and behaviours they would like to develop further.

Residential on Attitudes and Behaviours + -

This is a self-directed learning course for youth workers willing to explore ways to develop their professional competences for international youth work.

Residential on a Systemic Approach to Competence Development + -
