 Training of Trainers (ToT) 

 

The Training of Trainers (ToT) is a long-term training course, with a usual duration of 9 months. It targets trainers in the field of youth work, who want to work internationally and puts a focus on all the areas of the ETS Competence Model for Trainers. The main goal is to train trainers who are motivated to take part in continually improving the quality of projects under the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes.

 Trainers’ Skills Workshops (TSW)

 

During the Trainers’ Skills Workshops(TSW), participants focus on certain skills relevant to their trainer competences to work internationally. The workshops are tailored for advanced trainers who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in certain areas and to reflect on their experiences with trainer peers. The workshops are offered once or twice a year, supporting related competences of the ETS Competence Model for Trainers.

In Trainer´s Skills Workshops, participants focus on certain skills relevant for their trainer competences to work internationally. The workshops are tailored for advanced trainers who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in certain areas and to reflect their experiences with trainer peers. The workshops are offered twice a year as part of a strategic long-term cooperation supporting related competences of the ETS Competence Model for Trainers.  

 COMETS 

 

The COMETS (COMpetence development in the frame of European Training Strategy) represent a series of one-week courses offered once a year to support advanced trainers exploring a certain competence area defined by the ETS Competence Model for Trainers.

The biennial conference Bridges for Trainers invites key actors to reflect on trends and core issues in the youth field and their effects on the work of trainers. Bridges for Trainers aims to support the quality development of international training courses for youth workers and offer continuous support for their competence development.

 From Knowing to Being (FKTB)

 

From Knowing to Being (FKTB) is a training course for trainers and educators who are active and advanced in implementing (international) training activities. It allows them to raise their awareness of how their attitudes, values, beliefs, and inner readiness impact their work as trainers or educators. The training course’s overall purpose is to lift participants’ potential to take further steps in their professional development.
